Day 01 - Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris representative who will transfer you to Arusha for dinner and overnight

Day 02 - Arusha National Park.

After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park for game drives around Momela lakes and walking safari with the escort of the ranger. Covering an area of 137 sq km, it consist of; the Ngurdoto crater, Momela lakes, the highland mountain forest, and the nugget mount Meru (about 4575 m above sea level) are four distinctive features of the park. Late afternoon drive back to Arusha for dinner and Overnight.

 

Day 03 and 04 - Arusha /Tarangire National Park.

After breakfast you will be picked by Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris driver-guide. With packed lunch, you will be transferred to Tarangire National park for a full day game drive. Upon arrival you will start you will start your extensive game drive in this beautiful park. You will have lunch break followed by more game drives till later in the evening when you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park with its huge baobab trees, the perennial Tarangire River and seasonal swamps is home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Animals gather at the river and you should be able to see elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, dik-diks, waterbucks, warthogs and reedbucks all year round. Furthermore the park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions.

Day 05 - Tarangire / Lake Manyara.

After breakfast you will be picked by Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris driver-guide. With packed lunch, you will be transferred to Lake Manyara National park for a full day game drive. Upon arrival you will start you will start your extensive game drive in this beautiful park. You will have lunch break followed by more game drives till later in the evening when you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Lake Manyara national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

Day 06 - Lake Manyara / Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will be picked bySuper Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris driver then drive to Serengeti national park. It is a world heritage site, the 7th worldwide wonder and the oldest national park in Tanzania. It is well known for its annual wildebeests of more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle that migrate in the months of May, June, July, October, November and December. You will have lunch en-route. On arrival, proceed for the afternoon game drive in the park. The park covers 12,944km2 of open plains making it one of the largest in the world. The rocky outcrops commonly known as Moru kopjes in the eastern part of the park are of scenic beauty and occasionally cats can be seen lazing on them. The park contains vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other antelopes. Later you shall proceed to your lodge before dark in readiness for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07 - Full day in Serengeti National Park.

After the breakfast you will proceed for the whole day game drive in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon. The term Serengeti means endless plains in Masai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti. About 35 species of plains animals can be seen here including the big 5 - Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo. Other common species found here includes hippo, giraffe, eland, impala and other antelope types, baboons, monkey and more. Over 500 species of birds can be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. Later you shall proceed back to your lodge before dark in readiness for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Day 08 - Serengeti / Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast you will have game drive en route as you depart Serengeti for Ngorongoro crater via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20 km wide volcanic crater with 600 m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5 million year-old fossil fragments of an early human civilization. We will enjoy lunch overlooking the crater, and the afternoon will be spent at leisure. Later you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 09 - Full day in Ngorongoro.

Day 10 - Ngorongoro / Lake Eyasi.

After breakfast drive to Lake Eyasi with Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris driver, lunch at the lodge in Lake Eyasi, afternoon visit the Hadzabe and Tindiga tribe. Dinner and overnight

Day 11 - Lake Eyasi.

After breakfast you will be transferred to lake Eyasi to visit local people Hadzabe and Tindiga. You will also have an opportunity to do nature walk along the shores of the lake. Over 100 years ago when the stronger Maasai tribes moved into the Ngorongoro and Serengeti, the Datoga and other indigenous bushmen living there were pushed South. Many made Lake Eyasi and its surrounding bush and forests their home. From Lake Eyasi, you can visit the Hadzabe tribe who are hunter gatherers, believed to have lived here for nearly 10,000 years. Their language is characterized by clicks and may be distantly related to that of the San (Bushmen) of South Africa. The lifestyle of the Hadzabe still centres on hunting and gathering traditions. After this amazing experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12 - Lake Eyasi / Arusha.

After breakfast, you will be driven back to Arusha for lunch. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the Airport for your next destination
